Huddart Park
Both of these beautiful parks are maintained as serene, natural resources despite their proximity to the residential areas of Woodside. The forested slopes and steep, cool canyons of Huddart Park are complemented by picnic areas with barbecue pits and tables, a playground, grassy meadows, as well as hiking and equestrian trails. Huddart Park is a great place to have a picnic or explore a redwood forest. There is ample parking throughout the park which makes it very accessible to visitors of all ages. More info, maps, hours>
Wunderlich Park
The smaller of the two parks, Wunderlich was once the ranch of the Folger family and was donated to the County by Martin Wunderlich as an equestrian preserve and open space. The historic Folger Stable is at the base of the park which preserves native habitats of redwood forests, open meadows, and beautiful oaks and madrones. The park is kept as a semi-wilderness area with a system of beautiful trails for riding, running, and hiking. Parking is limited so we encourage you to carpool when visitiing.
